Senior Executive/Assistant Manager/Manager/Senior Manager - Merger & Acquisition Tax - Big4 - CA (1-10 yrs)

Hiring for Big4 - M&A Tax- Sr Ex/AM/M/Sr M

Assistant Manager-

- Providing tax & regulatory advise on M&A transaction and re-structuring

- Good knowledge of Corporate tax regulations relating to M&A, Exchange Control Regulations, SEBI Regulations, stamp duty regulations

- Keep up-to-date on developments in tax and regulatory space FEMA, SEBI, Corporate Laws, etc.

- Coaching / developing junior members on the concepts of M&A Tax, re-structuring and corporate tax

- Providing M&A tax advisory services and PE tax strategies

- Accountable for the timely delivery of high quality engagement work

- Builds positive client relationships and demonstrates an understanding of the clients requirements and business

- Assists senior members of team on prospective client pursuits

- Supervises effectively junior team members and takes responsibility for reviewing their work

- Understands risk management procedures and ensure that they are being adhered to within engagements

Manager-

- Conceptualizing and structuring mergers & acquisition, and corporate restructuring strategies from tax and regulatory perspective

- Providing advice on relevant laws and statutes pertaining to mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructuring

- Key statutes handled include direct tax laws, Company Law regulations, securities laws, exchange control regulations, stamp duty laws

- Implementation support for scheme of mergers / arrangements

- Conducting due-diligence reviews on prospective target companies from a historical and future tax perspective

- Leading and managing client relationships to ensure seamless execution from start to end of project

- Coaching/ developing junior members on the concepts of corporate tax

- Providing M&A advisory services

- Monitor work, manage, motivate and guide to deliver work of high quality

- Develop appropriate client relationships and identify further client opportunities

- Keep up-to-date on developments in tax and regulatory space FEMA, SEBI, Corporate Laws, etc.

- Performance management of team, work allocation and identification of training and development needs

- Take a significant role in sharing knowledge and supporting the development of team members

- To ensure that the risk and other policies are being adhered to

Senior Manager-

- Building larger business opportunities in corporate taxes

- Conducting tax planning for clients to meet with the corporate tax obligations as per statute;

- Providing expert advice on Corporate tax laws and regulations

- Leading and managing client relationships to ensure seamless execution.

- Monitor work, manage, motivate and guide to deliver work of high quality

- Develop appropriate client relationships and identify further client opportunities

- Ability to understand the clients business, microeconomic and macroeconomic issues around the same

- Keep up-to-date on developments in tax and regulatory space FEMA, SEBI, Corporate Laws, etc.

- Performance management of team, work allocation and identification of training and development needs

- Take a significant role in sharing knowledge and supporting the development of team members

- To ensure that the risk and other policies are being adhered to

Qualification: Qualified CA

- Experience in working in a regulatory environment and exposure in corporate tax, corporate law, FEMA and SEBI would be an advantage

Experience

- 3-5 years of experience in direct tax advisory with focus on M&A for AM

- 5-7 years of experience in direct tax advisory with focus on M&A for M

- 7-10 years of experience in M&A structuring environment for Sr M
