Senior Executive/Assistant Manager/Manager/Senior Manager - Direct Tax - Global Mobility Services - PWD/Returning Women

Senior Executive:

- Assist in providing tax advice, which ensures optimum tax benefits for both the employer and employee.

- Conducting entry and exit meeting with expatriates / assignees and assist them with local registrations, preparation and filing personal tax returns, requisite compliances relating to the assignment.

- Assist in compensation structuring, advising on both domestic and cross border employee stock option plans.

- Assist clients in payroll/withholding tax compliance

- Assist in advisory and compliance services relating to setting up of liaison offices, visa, social security etc.

- Understanding of various tax treaties and application of relevant articles of the treaty in finalizing personnel tax returns / advisory work.

- Assist with advisory work in relation to FEMA (applicable to expatriates / individuals)

- Ensure filing/document management from an internal review perspective

- Compliance with firms internal risk management policies and client administration

- Ensure proficiency with firm's internal tools and technologies to upload client deliverables, etc.

- Making presentation on current topics in internal trainings

- Ensure client trackers, billing trackers, are upto date and provide real time updates.

Assistant Manager:

- Responsible for providing tax advice, which ensures optimum tax benefits for both the employer and employee

- Structuring the assignment and assignment policies for the employer from a tax and social security perspective

- Conducting entry and exit meeting with expatriates / assignees and assist them with local registrations, preparation and filing personal tax returns, requisite compliances relating to the assignment.

- Assist in advisory and compliance services relating to setting up of liaison offices, visa, social security etc.

- Understanding of various tax treaties and application of relevant articles of the treaty in finalizing personnel tax returns / advisory work.

- Structuring tax efficient compensation packages, including advising on both domestic and cross border employee stock option plans

- Assist clients in payroll/withholding tax compliance

- Assisting in providing visa related advisory and compliance assistance to the employees

- Assist with advisory work in relation to FEMA (applicable to expatriates / individuals)

- Ensuring periodical review of filing/documents from an internal review perspective

- Contributing to newspaper articles, knowledge management presentations etc. in respect of the above subjects

- Coaching and guiding the team members

- Building good rapport and working relationship with key client contacts

- Assisting the management in risk compliance, internal reporting and client administration"

Manager:

- Responsible for building and developing the GMS Practice.

- Responsible for providing tax advice, which ensures optimum tax benefits for both the employer and employee

- Extensive meetings with Employer/ Employees, prior to deputation of employees to foreign locations and also post arrival to arrive at the right solutions. Services offered include assistance in complying with the requisite formalities

- Structuring attractive compensation packages, including advising on both domestic and cross border employee stock option plans

- Assist clients payroll/withholding tax compliance

- Structuring the assignment and assignment policies for the employer from a tax and social security perspective

- Responsible for expressing formal opinion on the basis of inputs from clients

- Ability to express opinions on visa and social security implications in respect of assignees coming into or going out of India.

- Other compliance services relating to setting up of liaison offices, preparation and filing of personal tax returns

- Understanding of various tax treaties and application of relevant articles of the treaty in finalizing personnel tax returns / advisory work.

- Responsible for providing solutions with regard to FEMA provisions applicable to expatriates / individuals

- Contributing to newspaper articles, knowledge management presentations etc. in respect of the above subjects

- Coaching and guiding the team members

- Building good rapport and working relationship with key client contacts

- Lead the management in risk compliance, internal reporting and client administration

- Ensuring 100% compliance with firm's internal risk management policies and client administration

- Acumen for business development

- Proactively volunteer to take up / lead practice related initiatives viz; technical training sessions, firm events, etc."

Sr.Manager:

- Responsible for building and developing the GMS Practice.

- Responsible for providing tax advice, which ensures optimum tax benefits for both the employer and employee

- Responsible for developing productive relationships to bring in business

- Responsible for developing cross- sells among other functions

- Spearheading meetings with clients, prior to deputation of employees to foreign locations and also post arrival to arrive at the right solutions. Services offered include assistance in complying with the requisite formalities

- Structuring attractive compensation packages, including advising on both domestic and cross border employee stock option plans

- Assist clients in payroll/withholding tax compliance

- Other compliance services relating to setting up of liaison offices, preparation and filing of personal tax returns

- Ability to sign off on draft assignment structures and assignment policies for the employer from a tax and social security perspective

- Ability to sign off on formal tax and regulatory opinions (expatriate / assignment related) on the basis of inputs from clients

- Ability to sign off on opinions relating to visa and social security implications in respect of assignees coming into or going out of India.

- Ability to sign off on solutions with regard to FEMA provisions applicable to expatriates / individuals

- Contributing to newspaper articles, knowledge management presentations etc. in respect of the above subjects

- Coaching and mentoring team members

- Building good rapport and working relationship with key client contacts

- Lead the management in risk compliance, internal reporting and client administration

- Ensuring 100% compliance with firm's internal risk management policies and client administration

- Acumen for business development

- Proactively volunteer to take up / lead practice related initiatives viz; technical training sessions, firm events, etc.

- Other national responsibilities viz. managing MIS and KPIs"
