We are hiring Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager Export Customer Service for a leading FMCG co. based in Mumbai

1) Must be from FMCG industry only (would prefer someone who has worked for personal care/cosmetic sector)

2) Distributor handling/appointment experience is a must

3) Role will be 50% Customer Service and 50% Business Development

4) Knowledge of Indian Export Import policies is a must.

5) International Market Exposure is a must.

Your role specifications

1. Customer Service : external and inter-company

a. Liaise with sales team and PSO to ensure OTIF dispatch of orders and documents

b. Liaise with Sales, Finance and buyers for monthly reconciliation of accounts and timely issuance of credit/debit notes

c. Liaise with sales and documentation & logistics teams to identify root causes of customer complaints & issues to ensure swift resolution

d. Ensure swift resolution of customer issues and complaints

e. Publish the agreed MIS with stakeholder on weekly basis

2. Business Development

a. Be the primary BD lead in select markets - responsible for quarterly orders, payments follow up, market development through BTL activations & promotions.

b. Liaise with Sales and Process leads to create artwork library for all market & work with them to standardize SKU across markets

c. Be the single point repository for all artworks and ensuring execution / adaptations for any changes / new developments in a timely manner

d. Work with Production planner to regularly update business teams on non-core SKUs/products with infrequent production schedule

e. Work towards SKU Rationalization to align the Export Portfolio with Domestic SKUs

f. Support brand team and inter-co in POSM - production, dispatch and liaise with Customs/RBI to ensure necessary documentation & approvals for shipping FOC/POSM

g. Liaise with External Market intelligence partners for market specific data(as and when required)

h. Pipelining potential distributors in new geographies through close interaction with Chamber of Commerce / CII / Embassies and other marketing bodies in India / abroad.

3. Inter-company business

a. Regularly connect with BD teams of inter-company to drive business

b. Liaise with Inter-company, PSO and R&D and own the CPS for launching/developing new products as per target date.

c. Be single point of contact for any issues with NPD development/customization required by inter-companies

d. Seek forecasts from inter-companies and support Process lead in managing RM/PM cover at optimum levels to avoid write-offs as well as production delays

e. Support logistics team to expedite pre-shipment inspections to ensure no loss of business due to delays on account of external vendors

Skills required

- ~3 years of Sales & BD experience (export sales preferred)

- Good communication skills

- Proficient in SAP

- Proficient in excel, knowledge on import-export policy& Export Process

- Ability to work in a team and deliver as per timelines

- Ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams
