Senior Equity Research Analyst - Buy Side Fund

Job Purpose:

- Play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities in Indian Listed Equities

Qualification & Experience:

- 10 years of work experience in Buy-Side Equity Research

- CA, CFA or MBA from Top Tier Institutes,

Key Accountabilities:

- Significant experience in financial modelling, valuation, industry/company research, use of financial databases like Refinitive/ Bloomberg/ CapitalIQ etc.

- Company/sector research: As part of the deal evaluation process, compile and analyse relevant data on the sector, company, competitors etc. from databases, annual reports, expert conversations, discussions with research analysts etc. Synthesis key messages from such research and conversations, and share with the team

- Ability to take quick and sound decisions. He/she should be prompt enough to assess prospective companies.

- Sound Macro-economics understanding and ability to corelate fast-changing global economic data to assess portfolio impact and way forward

- Monitoring portfolio companies, active approach in anticipating challenges for the companies due to sector related changes

- Network with peers in investment banks; gets regular market intelligence on potential opportunities

- Ability (over time) to lead the execution of specific mandates

- Create fund level financial model as required

- Ability to lead a team
