Client - Blue Chip, Very Large E-Commerce, Product Development Company

Education - BE/ BTECH / ME / MTECH from Premium Institutes Preferred

Must have spent Substantial part of their Career in Product Development

Must - Should Have Managed at least 3 to 4 Engineering Managers under them in Addition to the Engineering Team

Must have at least 6 years of Experience as a Engineering Manager/ Software Dev Manager Role

Should have Good System Development and System Design Experience

About the Work :

Client is setting up, Promotions Platform in India which is going to be a brand new organization in India. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a new team. We have strong roadmap to expand presence in India. We are looking for a Sr Software development manager, who can grow this team from zero. As a Sr. Software Development Manager, you will be the site leader for Promotions Platform in India. You will establish teams.


You will be part of the larger technical leadership community at Amazon. This community forms the backbone of the company, plays a critical role in the broad business planning, working closely with senior executives to develop business targets and resource requirements, influences our long-term technical and business strategy, helps us hire talented team of engineers and ultimately enables us to deliver innovative new solutions rapidly.

- A successful candidate will therefore bring deep software expertise, have strong business intuition, and think broadly to identify visionary products that our customers will love. The role requires you to be able to lead the software development life-cycle of systems and services in Promotions Platform which includes the following responsibilities:-

- Build a high performance organization consisting multiple teams while maintaining a high bar for quality.

- Hire, coach, and mentor colleagues; build a strong cross-functional organization and care about developing people.

- Create and execute roadmaps and project plan

- Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to senior leadership

- Work closely with senior engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach
