Our client is one of the largest test and measurement equipment company. - As a Senior Engineering Manager within the Time Domain Business Unit, you will provide technical, project, and people leadership to a team of engineers developing the next generation of oscilloscopes and measurement solutions. Job Responsibilities (Core) : - Provide strong technical direction by evaluating and guiding product strategy, design, and development across projects. - As a hands-on manager, ensure the best technical direction for your staff to deliver world-class products, including advanced development and sustaining projects. - Grow, mentor, and inspire our world-class engineering team by owning all elements of the employee life cycle: onboarding, training, performance management, career development, and advancement. - Champion continuous improvement for your organization set priorities, and remove obstacles to enable your staff to operate efficiently and reach its full potential. Qualifications - External : - This position requires a BS degree in engineering, preferably an EE degree. A Master's or MBA is desirable. - Must have 15 to 18 years of engineering experience and at least 5 years as an engineering manager product development teams. - Strong leadership skills, including proven abilities in motivation, coaching, and conflict resolution. - Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams and product development execution within a high-tech company. - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Collaborative skills with prior success in influencing and persuading others who are not direct reports, preferably in a matrix organization. - Ability to work with Global teams and work with/manage partners in delivering world-class products. - Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver technically complex products. - Knowledge of business fundamentals is essential. - Experience within the test and measurement industry.
