Sr. Engineering Manager Security

Your Opportunity :

You will be part of a team of highly talented Information security engineers solving problems at all levels of the platform stack from the application, down to the configuration of the system and required to design & engineer a security service or debug a Java application issue or to harden a system. You'll partner with brightest technologists in the Information Security team and business in Silicon Valley to provide robust technical solutions to business problems. Your work will be immediately visible to top management and you will have a direct impact on the business goals related to information security of Fortune #1 company.

Your Responsibility :

- Manage a team of Engineer's associates, Technical associates and Scrum masters focused on the Security domain

- Work with solution architects and help define business processes and system architecture

- Support the team in delivery to ensure adherence to quality and schedule goals

- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure delivered solutions are fit for use and purpose while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction

- Provide input to the InfoSec Management leadership team on both short-term and long-term program planning focused on the organizational goals

- Identify, Improve and optimize opportunities to improve product deployment processes.

- Ensure compliance with security practices/guidelines, and relevant technology standards

- Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Your Qualifications :

- You have a Bachelor's or Master's in a technical field of study - Information Technology preferred.

- You have 10+ years of work experience in the information security field in high-volume retail or large enterprise environment.

- Hands on experience in development of security software products in a product organization using Java/Core Java.

- You have proven IT security experience and related certification(s) preferred. (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CRMA, GCIA, GSEC, CCSP), will be an additional advantage.

- You have a firm knowledge of multiple information security domains

- You should have knowledge of industry-standard operating systems, networking configurations, load balancing, firewalls, and security controls.

- You have experience working in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment, using research and analysis to support recommendations and opinions.
