Responsibilities: As a leader you are expected to:
- Be a hands-on technical and people leader with at-least 5 yrs in building and running high performing teams of size 50 or more.
- 5 years building highly scalable, distributed, high performance applications with focus on open source tech stack.
- Experience in different frameworks/Architecture like microservices, event driven architecture, Rest API's and Reactive systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
- Strong customer focus and obsession with quality.
- Have experience in developing strategies, plan, design, development, testing, deployment and production support of projects and products.
- Work with client facing teams and management to prepare estimates, Point of Views, Position Papers and contribute towards pursuits, proposals and Statement of Work
- Drive product and project architecture design in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Manage efforts in distributed systems and/or web applications in an Agile environment utilizing technologies such as cloud, APIs, CICD, etc.
- Help recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
General and Educational Qualifications / Certifications :
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management or a related field with 15+ years of experience.
- Experience in management consulting and IT advisory consulting organizations is a huge plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Financial services projects or Large multinational organizations that are in the Insurance, Banking, Wealth Management industry.
- Industry certifications (Banking, Wealth and Insurance) a huge plus.
