Senior Engineer - Business Intelligence - IT

About the job : In this role, you will design and build robust data products required to support various data science and insights initiatives. As a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, you will partner with data scientists, product managers and business leaders across the org to ensure that they have clean and accurate data/ insights through easy-to-use systems for implementing high-quality and timely decisions.

Key Responsibilities in this role would include the below :

- Collect, evaluate, and present actionable data and recommendations to drive marketing, business development and product management decisions at a senior level

- Own, build and automate generation of business metrics using Power BI/ Tableau.

- Examine and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.

- Recognize and adopt best practices in data investigation and reporting: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and self-service automation.

- Write high quality code to retrieve and review data. Learn and understand a broad range of EFL's data resources.

- Design, develop, and implement scalable, automated infrastructure for data extraction, processing, computation, and delivery.

- Leverage predictive models, exploratory data analysis (EDA) & other statistical models to solve problems and deliver insight.

What you need to succeed in the role :

- 8+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience; or 6+ years and a Master's degree.

- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.

- Experience with data visualization using Power BI, Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets

- Experience developing products on AWS or Google Cloud Services.

- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
