It Facilitates e-store platform, digital performance marketing services, marketplace management, multi-city warehousing with fulfilment and logistics coordination support. The Team: - Sales team is structured into three sub-teams with clear KRA's and KPI's defined for individual teams in-line with the philosophy and intent of the team structure. Brief overview of the team structure below: - End Sales team: Handling all the activities involving interactions with Customer, pitching solutions, Deal closures, negotiations, Customer Conflicts/expectations management, and sales revenue closures. KPI's are primarily tied to revenue, deal quality and customer churn rate. - Inside Sales: This team focuses on creating the top of the sales funnel. Involves market & competition analysis, creating channels for improving inbound & outbound lead generation, optimizing Prospect -MQL- SQL lead conversion rates and turn-around time. KPI's set around lead flow volumes, quality of lead flows and efficiency of lead conversions to SQL. - Sales Operations: This team acts as the enabler and support system for faster turnaround of deals. They act as presales support coordinating with multiple internal teams for putting together the solution, pitch decks, agreement closures and creating sales collaterals. KPI's set around Collateral's quality, deal ageing, data entry & internal project management. Since they are the bridge between inside Sales and End Sales, they are best placed to manage data, data analysis, reporting and driving continuous process improvements to improve sales funnel efficiencies. The Role - Sr Sales Director/ VP of Sales/Head of Sales will reports to one of the Director - He/she will be a highly motivated and self-starter individual accountable and responsible for handling Customer facing End to End interactions for ensuring Quality deal closures within TAT. - He/She will be leading a team of 20+ Sales Directors/Sales managers/Senior Sales managers in End Sales Inside sales and sales operations - The role will have revenue linked targets. Responsibilities - Lead a team of sales directors & managers to manage brand acquisitions - Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Tactfully and strategically enable the team to follow up with the prospects regularly, host the commercial negotiations and drive the needed urgency towards deal closures - Drive end to end sales cycles including lead generation, sales presentations, technology demonstrations, commercial proposal submissions, contract negotiations, revenue generation and account receivables - Strategic Thinker & Leadership: Leading from the front on all important Client facing discussions, while providing direction to the team on the positioning, go-to-market strategy and priority amongst the prospect segments - Owns team revenue targets: Responsible for timely execution of proposals and contracts - Negotiate, structure and close deals that meet customer expectations - Regular forecast updates to the leadership on the business - Build and grow the sales team focused on driving growth through quality customer acquisitions for PAN India. Years of Experience: - 10+ years' experience in end-to-end sales with at least 4 years in E-commerce/SaaS solutions experience in an IT services company/Internet/Ecommerce (preferred), higher weightage to skill than industry - B.Tech /BE/MBA (any other technical degree) from Tier-1 institutes (preferred) - Candidate with inherent drive in genuinely solving customer problems and exceeding revenue quotas Expectations on Skills and Abilities: Must have: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Non- negotiable - Experience in planning and budgeting- AOP, team targets and resource planning - Internal stakeholder management skills and experience - Strong understanding of company positioning, product/ services, and business development strategies for complex e-commerce value chain solutions - Extensive experience negotiating terms and closing contracts for business - Strategic thinker with strong storytelling skills and written communication - Strong cross-functional partner, particularly with Product, Marketing and Client Management teams - Strong networking and relationship building ability - High energy with the desire and ability to grow and thrive in a dynamic start-up environment - Experience in B2B solution selling (E-commerce, CRM, ERP, SAAS, OMS, Payment solutions) - Knowledge of Indian E-commerce industry/ related tech/warehousing / Payments / Marketplaces / Brand e-store. Performance marketing and Warehousing services domain knowledge and sales experience is preferred. - Concept selling, software solution sales experience, ability to engage and influence a client - Experience in Selling in the Domestic Market is a big plus - An entrepreneurial mindset, sense of ownership to genuinely solve customer problems, become a trusted advisor to customers and make things happen gets brownie points.
