Senior Director/Vice President - Engineering - IT Firm

The company is a reputable global IT Services company in the small-to-medium size category, grossing almost USD 150 MM in annualized revenues from its consulting and non-consulting businesses, of which, products are a key part.

The job is to lead the concise but growing products business as the engineering leader and build a focused team and portfolio of highly relevant products for the major customer categories that the company engages with in key global markets.

An ideal candidate will have qualitative experience in leading product development from scratch and growing & leading teams from scratch, especially design & development of highly scalable, distributed and cloud-native software - preferably as a full-stack pro.

Key responsibilities:

- Architect and lead the development of products and transform the exiting portfolio

- Make sure the team is aligned and building right

- Encourage and promote the use of latest approaches and tools for agile development like CI/CD, Kubernetes, Dockers, etc.

- Lead proof-of-concept/prototypes for the product business

- Work closely with the senior management on product ideation/strategy, roadmap and evolution

Preferred:

- Someone with experience in Azure and Microsoft stack related development
