Client Details

Our client is one of the leading Buying & Sourcing companies in the world, and they cater to some of the leading retailers in Europe and North America. Over the years, they have been able to establish a significant presence across the Asia Pacific region. They are widely regarded as pioneers in their space, and are always at the forefront of developing new sourcing hubs across the region. They have been able to grow significantly in the India Market over the last decade or so, and are currently looking to recruit a Senior Director - Sourcing, based out of their Corporate Office in Delhi NCR.

Description

Reporting to the APAC Managing Director, you will be responsible for -

- Manage the regional P&L for the company

- Leading and managing South Asia sourcing operations for the company

- Managing relationships with strategic vendors to drive value for the company

- Driving projects across the value chain, and managing aspects of quality, cost and compliance

- Liaise extensively with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business objectives

- Mentoring and training of team members, and assisting in their growth and development

Profile

You will have 20+ years of experience (post education) in core sourcing, buying and merchandising roles within the apparel/textiles space. Prior experience of working in the India (South Asia) Market is an added plus. The client is looking for someone with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver business results. You will possess a corporate/strategic mindset with a hands on approach towards your work.
