Senior Director - Product Oriented Delivery - Consulting Firm

- Accountable for operating rhythm across PODs, including daily and weekly check-ins with POD team to understand progress, key risks, and roadblocks, estimated project, delivery timeline etc.

- Ensure each POD follows governance approvals, final sign-off between toll gates (e.g., future state solution, testing and deployment), coordination with various groups to ensure no roadblocks

- Ensure adherence to execution methodology across all PODs, including development standards, anticipated value realization and validation with finance and business domain

- Report project status and metrics including progress, earned value metrics, baseline, forecast and actual dates, costs and scope

- Escalate any risks to the Digital Factory leadership and Digital Factory Initiative Management teams

- Ensure E2E delivery and maintenance across all PODs, including business requirements, development, testing, deployment, change management and training

- Manage hiring, staffing, training and deployment of teams across projects. Oversee staff engaged in the development and implementation of POD initiatives. Plan, schedule and assign the work, provide guidance and check the work to maintain quality, accuracy and productivity

- Ensure all PODs are delivering to time, budget and quality and implement necessary processes to meeting internal SLAs and quality levels

Skills and Experience Required :

As well as the above mandatory requirements, we are also looking for candidates with:

- Strategic business thinking, extensive experience in cross functional project management; broad general management skillset to manage strategy, governance, execution, and oversight of initiatives

- Experienced in IT and project management methods including milestones, progress status, proper documentation, and deliverables with the ability to prioritize; Strong knowledge of established project management methods and tools (agile and traditional)

Leadership/Management experience :

- Demonstrated leadership and managerial competency to manage a team of professionals, establish priorities and adapt to changing conditions

- Highly analytical with rapid decision-making skills and able to evaluate complex and dynamic issues, and develop effective solutions
