Our network serves presently unconnected machines, sensors and IoT devices on farms, roadways, borders, mountains, and oceans. - We are a team that's mission-oriented and focused on operating a highly efficient, reliable, end-to-end machine &amp; sensor data mobility service on a global basis. - The company is currently in stealth mode, and led by a team of top operators from the satellite, wireless telecom and enterprise data industry. - The company is hiring a Sr. Director of Product Management, responsible for driving end-to-end product specification, while working cross-functionally between sales and engineering teams. - This outcome-oriented outward role requires a strong product management background in wireless, customer focus, identifying new use-cases for ubiquitous connectivity, and a strategic mindset to continuously analyze the shifting global industrial IoT &amp; wireless connectivity landscape (competition, market size, pricing, and the buying persona). - This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced product &amp; customer focused candidate, who is interested in building a transformative wireless product &amp; service that will have global impact across industries. Location : Bangalore, India. Extensive travel may be required in South &amp; Southeast Asia and US. Key Accountabilities - Prioritize use-cases and potential customers for each use-case, with a focus towards high volume applications in India - Set product requirements for the network, hardware, firmware and platform engineering teams - Closely monitor customer feedback to eliminate product complexity, and maintain product requirements that drive the most efficient and low-cost end-to-end service - Drive product roadmap, positioning, requirements and product extension for new use-cases - Continuously monitor the competitive landscape. Apply a data-driven approach for pricing. - Support creation of customer driven messaging and content - Run technology pilots with launch customers - Build an ecosystem of sensors that are certified by and compatible with Company's network - Engage with standards bodies (such as 3GPP) for standardization efforts Requirements - Domain knowledge of wireless and industrial IoT connectivity solutions and ecosystem&nbsp; - Evidence of being outcome-oriented -- focused on timelines, deliverables - Not afraid to hustle, and eager to drive early customer engagement with large enterprise &amp; government customers - Experience conducting customer interviews and translating insights to product requirements, while working closely with engineering team - Previous experience in a fast-moving startup environment is preferred - Ideally, engineering degree; MBA preferred - Exceptional communication skills - Highly collaborative, with a history of successful cross-functional leadership
