Financial Control, Audit, Tax & Compliance

- Responsible for driving development, implementation and adherence of all financial and accounting policies & procedures for the organization in compliance with the applicable financial and accounting standards

- Ensure compliance with local, state and statutory rules, regulations, tax and reporting requirements.

- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.

- Ensuring all audit and compliance are in line and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with principles of accounting

Investor management:

- Includes all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports,

- Oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliations with funders as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by Executive management, as well as the Audit/Finance Committee and Board of Directors

Working capital management:

- Monitor cash flows to ensure healthy liquidity and short and long term sustainability of the company and take necessary measures to ensure availability of working capital

- Working capital deployment and utilization analysis

- Cash flow forecasting, planning and monitoring

Team Management and Development

- Ensure succession plan in place for key roles

- Mentor and develop the finance management team, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of a dynamic and effective team.
