Senior Director - Capital Markets Technology

Our client a multibillion financial services organization is looking for Sr Director - Capital Markets Technology.

Responsibilities:

- Undertake and lead production stability initiatives to stabilize environments

- Works on unusually complex cross-functional and/or cross-organizational problems

- Provide additional support to existing production support procedures

- Interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, QA, DBA and application teams

- Work with the engineering partners for getting insights into upcoming changes

- Collaborates with the Business to develop Product Vision, Strategy and Roadmaps

- Develops Multi-year Plans to achieve the Vision

- Monitors industry trends and competitive market for Product Innovation

- Experienced in a variety of life cycle methodologies

- Knowledge of financial/ brokerage domain is essential

- Should have managed enterprise wide large technology initiatives independently

- Has program level responsibility for IT product development, delivery, and support

- Coordinates product roadmaps and plans with internal and external suppliers

- Supports the Product Backlog containing features, functions and technology enhancements and ensures it is continually updated and prioritized for business value and effort

- Manages Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Return on Investment, Pricing, and Unit Cost

- Defines Service Level Agreements (SLAs), cost and funding models. Develops and submits the annual budget for the product.

- Work effectively in global team distributed across geographic locations

Education and Experience

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

- A dynamic leader with a common sense approach to successfully lead and motivate a large, diverse team with 17+ years of IT experience

- Able to understand the technology and software architecture of the application

- Good understanding of Capital Market/ Brokerage business domain

- Proven track record of effectively managing Delivery Teams with successful, quality deliverables
