This is a key role in ensuring the success of organic digital marketing and its contribution to business goals. The role has three components - drip marketing campaigns across different segments and media for acquisitions, communication to recent investors, and Search Engine Optimization.
Individual contribution 60%
- Plan and priorities activities for all three components, aligning them to business objectives
- Lead the team in planning and executing a communication strategy across multiple touch points (emails, SMS, calls, and app/browser/product notifications) to convert leads into customers
- Create and execute a strategy for retaining recent investors and increasing their contribution to business goals
- Evaluate the potential for SEO/ASO, and optimize website/app properties
- Build dashboards and processes for systematic data analysis of the above activities and thereby continuous process optimization
- Research and implement content recommendations and link-building strategies for Organic search success and improving SERP
Program Management 40%
- Work with the product, technology and data teams to define requirements for the smooth execution of the organic acquisitions plan
- Collaborate with the creative team to build and scale SEO efforts
- Coordinate with the internal operations team to ensure that activities for organic conversion - calls, operations, field sales - are synchronized
The ideal candidate will have:-
1. Experience :-
a. 5-8 years of experience in a similar role
b. Hands on experience with Google and Bing's services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools
c. Some experience in CRM systems, planning and executing email, SMS campaigns, notifications, as well as managing lists and creating an ongoing schedule of content mapped to different audience segments
d. Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs
2. Skills :-
a. Extremely adept at data analysis
b. A functional understanding of HTML and CSS
c. Ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .ht access, robots. txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
3. Attributes :-
a. Ability to work with cross functional teams to achieve desired outcomes
b. Analytical mindset and critical thinking
c. An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
d. Team management
e. Strong verbal and written communication skills
4. Academic qualifications : Graduate/Post Graduate
