Senior Data Scientist - Shared Services

We are looking for a Sr Data Scientist with experience levels of 5 to 15 years for a MNC shared services client of ours to be based in Chennai. The incumbent will need the below expertise.

This position is part of Finance Operations Data process area in the team delivering improvements.

It provides capability to deliver improvements in performance through insights from data analytics.

Provide deep expertise of statistical / mathematical modeling concepts for quantification, estimation, classification, prediction, optimization, etc.

Demonstrate expertise in using analytics tools (R, Revolution R, R Studio, SPSS, SAS, Python, Matlab, Alteryx, etc.) in executing analytics projects.

Experience in Customer Analytics/Text Analytics/HR Analytics/Campaign Analytics/Social Media Analytics/ Campaign Analytics will also be preferred -

Experience 5 to 15 - years in a global role or in various locations

University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Advanced Finance, or related areas

Demonstrated evidence based decision-making and analysis required to support it

Executing analytics projects and demonstrated delivery of business value

Deep understanding of business processes, systems, and data structures

Good interpersonal communication skills and influencing skills

A self starter, able to work on initiative with a strong desire to learn.
