Senior Data Scientist - Operation Research - FMCG/CPG Domain

Proficiency in FMCG/CPG domain.

Experience level : Total of 10 to 12 + years of experience out of which 5+ years should be in Supply Chain Analytics with a strong understanding of Supply Chain Operations inventory management, manufacturing, and distribution.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science/Statistics/Applied Mathematics/Operations research/Industrial engineering mandatorily from a Tier 1 institute.

Role Expectations:

- Build enterprise intelligent automations and enable ML solutions on various use cases including but not limited to Demand Forecasting, Text Classification, Operational Analytics, Logistics Optimization, Price Optimization, Ecommerce, and Market Mix Modelling.

- Ensure the models are deployed in a scaled and optimized way

- Support the post-production to ensure model performance degrades are proactively managed

- Experience in Network Optimization, Cutting Stock, Knapsack kind of problems

- Constructing and solving Linear, Mixed Integer, Constraint and non linear programming problems.

- Designing own Heuristic Algorithms or implementing any known heuristic approach.

- Collaborates with ML engineers and systems engineers

- Review the deliveries for the junior data scientists.
