Senior Data Scientist - KPO/IT

For the scientist role, we are seeking candidates with excellent communication skills who can work directly with customers to bridge the gap between science and business. The successful candidate will be capable of making compelling presentations to business executives as well as crunch data for business insights and write code to create solution prototypes. Scientist must be able to design and build rapid prototypes for testing and experimentation, and then pass those designs over to engineering teams for development.

- Masters or PhD in operations research, econometrics, data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, software engineering or other quantitative fields.

- Experience in algorithm development in one or more of the following domains: mathematical statistics, nonlinear or mixed integer programming for constrained mathematical optimization, timeseries modeling, dynamic linear models, state space models, hierarchical Bayesian models, machine learning.

- Proficiency in a programming language or modeling language (8 to 15 years for Sr. Data scientist) for quant applications such as Python, F#, C#, C++, R, GAMS, AMPL, Matlab, SAS

- Excellent communication skills: English fluency, both written and spoken, and presentation development.

- Proven experience dealing with large, real world data sets and generating insights relevant for business decisions.

- Customer facing experience, presenting to business executives, articulating complex topics in a relevant and cogent manner.

- Solution delivery experience, writing business requirements, writing functional requirements, writing solution design specifications and prototyping code.

- Software development experience, interacting with or participating in engineering teams to deliver production software.
