Role : Sr. Data Scientist / Data Scientist Location : Bangalore, Karnataka, India (Looking for candidates in Bangalore at this point) Joining: Immediate to 30 days Relevant Experience Level : 6 to 9 Years - Sr. Data Scientist 3 to 6 years - Data Scientist In this role, you will : - Develop algorithms and predictive models, create prototype systems, visualisations, and web applications - Design and analyse experiments - Effectively implement and test advanced analytics models in production environment - Use your engineering and data science modelling skill-set to implement and keep models in optimal production state - Act as consultant to cross functional teams, advise how to best leverage results of advanced analytics models in production - Implement models in modelling production platform - Statistical modelling, Machine Learning, Forecasting - Analyse data, build models and assess their quality - Design experiments and evaluate the results - Ad-hoc Statistical requests - Communicating results and recommendations to senior management - Research next-generation statistical techniques. Required Experience & Skills : - 6- 9 years hands-on working experience in building statistical / machine learning models that work in a production setting - Strong understanding in at least one of the following areas: machine learning, probability and statistics, natural language processing, operations research - Strong hands-on expertise on R, Python. - Exceptional problem solving skills and willingness to learn new concepts, methods, and technologies - Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment Desirable Skills : - Big data frameworks, Spark, Scala Behaviour & Values : - Self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills: handle issues without arousing anger Education : - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Quantitative Analysis, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, etc) is required
