Group - Sr Data Protection Manager

The Group Legal and Commercial Function is tasked with the key objective of protecting the organisation's brand, its customers, and shareholders. The function comprises a number of core areas including legal, risk, compliance and regulatory - including Group strategy . This also include establishing the necessary governance, policies and standards to ensure our legal, risk, compliance and regulatory matters are managed in a robust and agile manner.

Your main role and responsibilities are:

- Establishing effective management of a privacy framework in Hyderabad office.

- Acting as the local point of contact for any privacy related matters.

- Establishing and maintaining Group's policies and data protection framework.

- Assessing risks across the Group and providing strategic direction for Divisions.

- Performance of data protection impact assessments in collaboration with the Divisions.

- Preparing data protection reports and addressing queries from senior leadership and the Board, as required.

Eligibility Criteria:

- A Graduate /postgraduate qualification in data protection or related filed desirable.

- An experienced profession with 6+years data protection experience within in a similar size business and have a proven track record of delivering results in a challenging commercial environment.

- Solid understanding of data management, security and controls and risk management.

- Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
