Senior Data Analyst - Workforce Management/Forecasting - Consulting Firm

Role & Responsibilities Overview :

- Play a crucial role in automating, improving, and maintaining Calabrio Work Force management (WFM) tool for demand volume forecasting.

- Partner with business users and clients to come up with an end-to-end solution.

- Identify the opportunities to automate the existing processes in Calabrio tool.

- Analyze the weekly and daily incoming volume trend to be updated in Calabrio.

- Manipulate and transform data using Excel/Python to extract meaningful insights.

- Communicate findings clearly through visualizations, reports and presentations.

- Strong knowledge of Excel to perform ad-hoc analysis to support decision making process.

- Ability to mentor or manage team of 2-3 junior members.

Candidate Profile :

- Bachelor's/master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas

- Minimum 5-6 years of professional experience in data analysis

- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of extracting insights from data

- Good to have time series forecasting techniques and applications knowledge

- Familiarity with WFM tool like Calabrio or IEX (Good to have)

- Should be able to mentor or manage team of 2-3 analysts

- Advanced data manipulation skills using Excel and Python

- Ability to perform ad-hoc analysis using Excel for quick insights

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

- Strong communication skills to convey complex findings effectively

- Strong record of achievement, solid analytical ability, and an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work

- Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges

- Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
