SENIOR DATA ANALYST Relevant Experience/ Skills: - 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics in a consumer product space - Strong experience with SQL, Spreadsheet, Data Modelling, Data visualisation, Business analytics, a scripting language like Python, etc. - Programming experience with analytical tools and languages - Experience in solving user & organisation problems via data analysis. Ability to analyse raw data to identify patterns & derive insights - Hands-on experience with BI tools and reporting software (e.g. Microstrategy, Tableau, Pentaho) Good to have: - Knowledge in R, Statistics, Data science, Machine learning - Knowledge of NoSQL platforms (e.g. key-value stores, graph databases, RDF triple stores) - Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure and considerations for scalable, distributed systems - Experience with app analytics, funnels, cohorts Key responsibilities: - Take ownership of data analysis activities and working closely with end users (both internal and external) to translate requirements into data-driven applications and data visualisation solutions (e.g. reporting and dashboards) - Responsible for data logging, injection, transformation, analysis and visualisation - Manage a team of analysts to meet requirements of all the units- operations, product, growth. Define the right metrics to track to achieve goals - Solve key problems of the organisation- performance measurement, growth, efficiency, product metrics - Set up systems, simulations & experiments to solve complex, continuous improvement problems
