Senior Credit Analyst - Structured Finance - CA/IIM/FMS/MDI/XLRI

Key Responsibilities :

1. Conduct thorough credit analysis of potential borrowers, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and assessment of collateral.

2. Evaluate credit risk associated with structured finance transactions, wholesale lending, and corporate lending.

3. Develop Credit Appraisal Memos (CAM) for credit proposals, outlining the risks and mitigants associated with each transaction.

4. Utilise financial modelling techniques to assess the financial viability of credit transactions and evaluate various scenarios.

5. Work closely with relationship managers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to structure credit facilities that meet the needs of clients while adhering to risk management guidelines.

6. Prepare detailed credit notes and present recommendations to senior management and credit committees.

7. Monitor the performance of existing credit exposures and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

8. Stay informed about market trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in structured finance and corporate lending.

Skills Required:

- Minimum of 5-9 years of experience in credit analysis, with a focus on structured finance, wholesale lending, and corporate lending.

- Education: CA 1st attempt or MBA from top tier college.

- Strong understanding of financial modelling and valuation techniques.

- Experience in developing Credit Appraisal Memos (CAM) and conducting credit analysis.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to structured finance and corporate lending.

- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.

- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
