Senior Credit Analyst - Large Corporates - Bank

Independent Credit appraisal assessment of prospective Corporate Banking Group for fund based exposure like Working Capital,Overdraft, Cash Credit, Term Loan etc. and non-fund based exposure like Letter of Credit,

Bank Guarantee etc.

- Perusal of Branch proposal and spreadsheets received from Business team along with annual reports, credit rating rationale, equity research reports, industry research reports etc to arrive at an independent credit recommendation on acceptability of the proposal

- Preparation of detailed proposal notes and ensuring clearance from credit sanctioning Risk Advice note for submission to Segment Head highlighting key risks and mitigations committees as well as finalisation of term sheet in consultation with Business Unit.

- Organise client meetings, do evaluation of prospective customers and market, understand clients requirements, structuring proposals/deals within Banks credit guidelines, credit programs and customer requirements.

- Monitoring economic and industry developments as well as financial parameters of clients to detect potential risk triggers or signs of stress and taking appropriate steps to mitigate risks.

- Performing detailed credit and background reference checks on all prospective for large- mid market clients.

- Make presentation to sanctioning committees for sanctions and approval of credit files as per bank policy.

- Disbursement of sanctioned cases including documentation, security creation and setting up of limit.

- Follow-up with the sales team, account relationship team and other concerned teams for sourcing, documentation, limit set-up and renewal/review.

- Joint Monitoring of portfolio with account relationship team based on and tracking of early warning systems.

- Keeping up to date with RBI guidelines as well as Bank's internal policies

- Participating in client meets, site visits. Interacting regularly with Credit Rating Agencies as well as external consultants such as stock auditors etc

- Providing timely inputs to Statutory and RBI auditors on respective portfolio accounts
