Senior Content Writer | D2C Brand

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Content Writer to join their team. As a Senior Content Writer, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and high-quality content across various platforms including web, social media, blogs, and marketing materials. You will work closely with their marketing and creative teams to develop content strategies, generate ideas, and ensure consistency in messaging and tone across all channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling.


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Generating Ideas and Delivering: Formulating narrative-based concepts for various platforms such as the website, marketplace platforms, emails, SMSs, digital ads, social media, packaging, blog, and SEO.

- Crafting Content for Direct Response: Creating content and advertisements aimed at direct response by identifying compelling elements, relevant product features, and collaborating with product, marketing, and nutrition teams.

- Managing Website Content: Overseeing the flow of content, product categorization, descriptions, and information pages on the website in conjunction with product and brand teams.

- Strategizing Blog and Email Campaigns: Devising plans to attract organic traffic to the website through blogs and email campaigns, including the composition of educational, scientific, and product-specific content.

- Analyzing Consumer Trends: Examining consumer trends through keyword analysis and cooperating with the SEO team to produce appropriate content.

- Collaborating on SEO Efforts: Working with an SEO agency to execute on and off-page activities, and supervising external blogs alongside SEO and SMM teams.

- Maintaining Brand Voice: Ensuring consistency in the brand voice across various channels while tailoring the tone and style to specific products and audience segments.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cooperating with teams across different functions to ensure that written content aligns with the company's overarching vision and objectives.

- Assisting with Design: Supporting the in-house design team in creating innovative and relevant designs and layouts for communication materials.

- Editing and Proofreading: Reviewing and refining creative work to uphold quality, precision, and uniformity.

- Performance Evaluation: Assessing the impact and success of content-driven activities against predetermined key performance indicators.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

- Work Experience: A track record of at least 5 years as a Content Writer / Copywriter.

- Stakeholder Management Skills: Proficient skills in managing various stakeholders, including agencies, e-commerce teams, and brand communication teams.

- Industry Insight: A deep understanding of the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business model/brand. While experience in the Health or Nutraceutical sector is preferred, it is not mandatory.

- Expertise in Direct Response Content: Previous involvement in creating content aimed at direct response is preferred.

- Proficiency in Content Writing: Ability to compose content in both long and short formats effectively.

- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both spoken and written English.

- Understanding of Scientific Concepts: Familiarity with scientific products and ingredients is desirable, although not essential.

- Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively within a team environment.
