Senior Consultant/Principal Consultant- Manufacturing Process Consulting

Role & Responsibilities :-

- Possess in-depth knowledge of Operations- Consulting offerings, tools and methodologies, engagement models and credentials across industries

- Work with business users to define improved processes and work as a partner in the transition process

- Deliver on onsite projects ; work with the client team as per the designed approach

- Assist the Ops team with primary and secondary research, run qualitative and quantitative analysis as required, identify possible pain areas for target clients and develop client specific decks to support the senior team in Business Development

- Identify Manufacturing Operations consulting opportunities in market and establish first level of connect as guided by Director/Partner

- Follow up for collection from clients

- Build and continuously update Domain Knowledge in Manufacturing Operations

In Addition to the above a Principal Consultant is expected to :-

- Address conflicting points of view in the teams they work with, help managers align stakeholders within the firm and in the clients

- Build strong client relationships during delivery and help client personnel identify specific problems and chalk out solutions

- Participate in Business Development activities of the firm, research on potential clients and identify value proposition, proposal making

- Take up team wide initiatives targeted at improving delivery/ introducing new products

Desired Qualifications and Competencies : -

- Engineer with an MBA from a premiere institute with atleast 4-6 years of post MBA experience in Manufacturing Process Consulting for Senior Consultant ; 6-11 yrs post MBA expereince for Principal Consultant .

- Should have relevant Manufacturing Process Consulting experience and implemented solutions across industries

- Strong verbal, written and inter-personal skills and ability to interact with senior level stakeholders

- Should be presentable, confident in approach and be able to deal with people across the hierarchy. Should be assertive and in situations exhibit influencing skills.

- Should be extremely conversant with Excel & PPT. High level of Excel & Analytical skills are a must. Should be able to work across spreadsheets on analytics, in excel, with key functions. Should be able to make professional presentations in PPT

- Possess strong problem solving skills, excellent work ethics; ability to learn new tools and techniques and apply them to client problems across industries.
