We are looking for experienced leaders with a strong analytics background (and overall professional experience of 4 - 7 years) to work in our Analytics Consulting practice
Candidates will work as an integral part of business analytics teams in India alongside clients and consultants in the U.S., leading teams for high-end analytics consulting engagements and providing business recommendations to project teams.
Required Fields of Study:
Computer science, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, industrial/organizational psychology, labor economics, actuarial science, or related field.
Preferred Fields of Study:
Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Statistics, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior Studies, Organizational Management, Industrial Psychology, Data Science, computer science, actuarial science or related field of study
Education:
B.Tech./B.E./Master's Degree/M.Phil./MBA from reputed institute(s) with relevant experience
Required Skills:
Successful candidates will have demonstrated the following skills and characteristics:
- Prior experience of having worked in consulting/analytics environment
- In-depth knowledge of the HR Domain areas such as recruiting, attrition, DE&I, compensation & benefits, performance, learning & development
- Ability to consult with client on People Analytics strategies and solutions, covering business issues, data science and / or technology solutions
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Ability to structure projects/engagements for the team
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Experience generating meaningful dashboards, analytics reports, generating meaningful insights and discussing it with HR and Business stakeholders
- Experience of engaging with International clients and working in onsite-offshore environment
- Ability to contribute beyond the defined scope of work
- Strong aptitude along with good academic and professional background
- Visualization techniques and tools; (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- Advanced analytical concepts including machine learning concepts, statistical & mathematical concepts (inclusive of predictive analysis, regression, cluster analysis, segmentation simulation, etc.), organizational network analysis
- Database & big data management systems
- Experience working with APIs to pull data from HRIS systems and vendors
- Object-oriented and data manipulation programming languages (Java, Python, R, SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
- Statistical Modeling/Machine Learning/AI/NLP
- Experience with Text and Sentiment Analysis
- Applicable sources of external, internal, or new data sources to support analytic methods and visualization techniques
- Demonstrated experience of contributing in firm and knowledge building
- Ability to mentor and train junior team-members
Roles and Responsibilities:
Leadership :
- Help Information & Analytics Practice make a bigger impact in Firm's overall positioning in the market
- Work closely with Information & Analytics Practice leadership in growing the team
- Coach and collaborate with associates who assist with this work, including providing coaching, feedback, and guidance on work performance;
Project Delivery and Management :
- Select the appropriate analytical techniques for the problem at hand
- Manage communication and project delivery between India and US teams
- Manage client presentations and act as subject matter expert on analytics discussions
- Structure the approach and deliverables for multiple analytics engagements simultaneously
- Manage team members proactively
- Help junior members develop the analytics path to align with overall project objective
- Responsible for checking the methodology and results used by team
- Help assess the impact of work, and conduct so-what analysis
- Develop storylines and make presentations
- Identify and address client needs and build relationships with clients
- Develop requests for information, demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks, and communicate potential conflicts to a supervisor
- Prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Firm Building & Intellectual Capital Development :
- Contribute to research, white papers, blog, and other IC development activities
- Contribute to recruitment efforts in India
Subject Matter Expertise:
- Keep abreast of market developments, identify growth opportunities
- Help Partners/Directors across the firm in selling analytics projects by acting as a subject matter expert on business development initiatives
