senior consultant
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning, organizing, conducting, and managing various valuation and advisory engagements.
- Functionally managing a small engagement team while being accountable for the daily progression and
reporting of the engagement to the senior members of the team.
- Ability to assume a high level of responsibility for projects, including accuracy and quality control.
- Independently build financial, forecasting, and valuation models from scratch.
- Oversees multiple valuation and consulting engagements simultaneously.
- Write and review valuation narrative or presentation to summarize analyses and conclusions.
- Works collaboratively with the engagement team and is a positive contributor to the firm's culture.
- Leads, trains, and mentors junior members within the team.
- Show responsiveness to client requests and questions and show the ability to work under tight deadlines on consulting/transaction projects; and
- Participate in client conference calls and technical discussions internally.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:- MBA (Premier B-School), MS (Finance) or CA.
- Certifications including CFA (CFA Institute, US), CVA, ASA, and/or ABV preferred.
- B.Sc. in Biology preferred
- Experience working in the life sciences/health care sector preferred.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:- Strong research, analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the team, seniors, and clients.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Very organized, detail-orientated, and proactive.
- Superior Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills and ability to quickly learn new software applications; and
- Advanced Excel/VBA skills and/or Power BI/Power Query/PowerPivot experience preferred.
