Senior Consultant - IT Consulting Firm

One of the Leading Global Information Technology Consulting Company is looking out for Senior Consultant.

Description: Delivery of business and technology consulting engagements and work streams for large and medium enterprises, governments and International funding agencies focusing on enterprise/sector transformation and optimisation strategies. These engagements have multilevel transformational impact including business, technical, organisational, operational, and cost reduction opportunities.

The Senior Consultant is a key role focused on delivering consulting projects in the region and exceeding client expectations through excellence in project execution, client management and people management.

The Senior Consultant could play different roles depending on specific client engagement requirements ranging from:

- Project consultant in a specific workstream reporting to a team lead producing specific engagement deliverables;

- Work stream lead managing a team of consultants producing and delivering to specific engagement requirements to firm standards and budgets;

- Subject matter expert providing specific knowledge, insight and guidance to project teams

- Lead smaller engagements as the Engagement manager producing and delivering to specific engagement requirements to firm standards and budgets.

- In addition to ongoing client engagement commitments, the Senior Consultant is also expected to actively participate and contribute to corporate-level practice development initiatives. .

Educational Requirements

- Master's degree in Business or related field preferred

- Post MBA working experience of 4 to 6 yrs. reqd.

- Additional qualifications in Design Thinking, Lean, Six Sigma desirable.

Experience

- 5 years of management consulting and/or operations management, in a consulting firm or professional services group in outsourcing service providers

- Managing client relationships with senior-level clients

- Consulting experience in at least some or many of the following areas:

- Process mapping and documentation, problem analysis and reporting, solution design in the areas of business transformation and strategic sourcing,

- Market scanning and analysis

- Financial and Risk Modeling

- Strategic sourcing - strategy, developing RFP statements of work, financials, governance and service management, direct hands-on experience in architecting, executing and managing transition planning and support activities and Business Process and technology assessment

- Managing large budgets and ensuring timeliness, quality, and cost of engagements

- Support of intellectual capital in new growth areas

- Support for proposal development

Other Requirements

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

- Exceptional interpersonal and client skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives

- Demonstrated leadership, client management, project management and business development skills

- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Willingness to travel outside of India
