A leading captive bank is looking for Indirect Taxation- SEZ- Sr Consultant - Chennai Experience : 6 to 9 yrs Qualification : CA Location : Chennai, willing to travel and flexible for relocation. Preferably from Big four or should have worked on corporate accounting &amp; taxation in big corporates. Job Description : - Adherence to monthly, periodical and annual compliances under SEZ law and other indirect taxation which includes APR filings, softex filings &amp; endorsement, invoice approvals, GST laws, Customs laws, etc. - Have a sound understanding of the indirect tax laws vz GST, Customs including SEZ law. - Have moderate knowledge of Income tax laws especially in connection with SEZ - Responsible for preparation of submissions to SEZ authorities on unit expansions, SEZ license renewal and execution of BLUT. - Prepare letters, replies, representations etc to the UAC and indirect tax authorities including representing the Company on UAC meetings and follow-up for necessary approvals. - Liaison with the SEZ and other indirect tax authorities on a regular basis - Preparation of projections, filings, submissions on periodical basis to SEZ office whenever required. - Provide tax support to supply chain management on applicable GST rates, TDS tax rates and other tax compliances expected from vendors and review of purchase orders, agreements/SOW and advise the stakeholders on tax implications, TDS rates, GST etc. Dipa Rani Live Connections
