Senior Consultant - Financial Planning & Analysis - BFSI

Job Responsibilities :

- Overall responsibility of creating annual/5-year business financial plans & performing financial analysis to support decision making

- Create financial MIS and other management information packs on a weekly/monthly basis and lead communication with the Management team

- Help drive cost control, ensure full understanding of the expense items in the P&L. Engage functional leaders to help them manage budgets and provide financial insights

- Track monthly results and ensure accuracy of the reported P&L number and drive the monthly P&L closing working with the controllership team

- Track overall headcount for the group, including hiring pipeline and estimate their impact on overall costs

- Lead projects and key strategic analysis for the FP&A team

- Support financial reporting system implementation- understand key functional requirements and liase with the technical team to drive an optimal IT solution

- Manage all external Investor relations and monthly/quarterly reporting

- Competitor and benchmarking analysis: Periodically track competitor performance.

- Support fund raising initiatives and due diligence process

Desired Skills :

- FP&A or finance experience in a financial services organization or an MNC

- Strong accounting knowledge and ability to link P&L results to economic & accounting drivers

- Expert excel and PowerPoint skills

- Strong communication and influencing skills

- Understanding of UKGAAP/IGAAP

- Personal drive (proactive), flexible, creative (thinks out of the box), result driven, responsible, curious, team player and fast learner

- Ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work

- Has an eye for details and ability to connect the dots while preparing financial analysis

- Understanding of Financial Services Businesses is preferable

- Experience around SOX Compliance is also preferable

Qualifications:Chartered Accountant or MBA from a reputed institution
