Below is the job description for the Senior consultant role.

This is an opportunity for an - experienced and knowledgeable- applicant to join the Private Equity BPA team in Bangalore. The prime responsibility of BPA team is to deal with business support, system upgrades and development, small change and major capital projects. This role involves development and support of the Investran and all its ancillary applications used within Private Equity business unit.

The Key Responsibilities of the role include:

- Consistently demonstrates expertise in high profile projects and system upgrades, testing for large and small projects/changes, including Investran upgrade and other system changes.

- Collaborates, elicit, analyse, outline and develop requirements for dockets and small changes coordinating with business and technology teams.

- Provide analysis and takes ownership throughout the lifecycle of the project from scoping, high level business requirements, detailed business requirements and implementation as required.

- Utilize available subject matter expertise to perform functional reviews of transformational initiatives and on-going BAU change agendas.

- Provide comprehensive consulting and leadership to stakeholder(s) to identify and understand the issues, drivers, environment or business they support.

- Serve as a Change Advocate; establish trust within the corresponding business teams; gain enthusiasm within the teams.

- Responsible for the rollout of agreed new procedures in consultation with the home location managers and team members

- Work closely with regional functional managers in various processes / projects to ensure communication and smooth implementation.

- Train, coach and mentor juniors in the group

- Provide SME support to Production support in case of any critical issues

- Provide regular management reports and Operational MIS to stakeholders and management

The successful incumbent will benefit from having:

- Self-starter with advanced analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong desktop, IT and systems skills required, and an ability to liaise and translate between technical and non-technical departments.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, a strong operational background in Private Equity business would be an advantage

- A good understanding of the FIS Investran platform, overall experience of 8-10 years and minimum 6 years of Business Analyst experience on Investran and its development is required

- CBAP or other IIBA certification would be advantage.
