Senior Cloud Data Center Solutions Architect - CDCA

The Cloud Data Center Architect - CDCA provides the primary technical leadership on projects from design through implementation for Design, Build and Deploy Data Center Solutions in a Cloud environment for clients.

The initial stages involves building the end-to-end Cloud Framework including SDN, Self Service for IaaS and PaaS

The architect must balance the business requirements of clients technology strategy and overall organizational preparedness.

The Architect will analyze and recommend technology strategies where gaps exist including performing proofs-of-concept as needed and building a business case and also assist in documenting clients overall application reference architecture.

Primary Roles :

- Create and document the clients primary Cloud Framework IaaS and PaaS reference architecture

- Collaborate with stakeholders for direction and end state

- Develop hands on to create and document the detailed design

- Collaborate with other developers and architects to create integration strategies between FNFG systems

- Ensure infrastructure and software is effectively mapped

- Provide blueprint for IT Information Security to ensure solutions comply with Corp Risk Management policies

- Performs proofs-of-concept as needed to determine technology solutions

- Builds business cases for new technology enhancements

- Identify and champion reuse opportunities

- Ensure consistent practices across enterprise initiatives

- Must adhere to pertinent laws, regulations, Client's Compliance Policy and external compliance requirements.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Computer Science or in a similar discipline with proven IT experience - Prefer Masters

- 12 to 15 year's experience in information technology

- 9 years experience in solution architecture and technology leadership

- 4 years experience in direct Data Center Architecture and Solutions design

- Strong Working knowledge of Cloud Architectures and Design Patterns including IaaS, PaaS - OpenStack, IBM Cloud, vCloud

- Substantial integration experience with API,

- Strong Knowledge acumen on the Public, Private, Hybrid types of Cloud hosting

- Storage - EMC and Net App, FC experience

- Very Strong Networking skills - VLAN, VXLAN, SDN, Ethernet, IP, switching, routing, firewalls, etc

- Other virtualization technologies such as ESXi, SRM, vCloud Director, VDI

- Enterprise security knowledge, as well as experience with access control, authentication, AD federation and privileged account management

- Proven ability to build consensus in a matrixed, collaborative environment

- Strong oral and written communications
