Job Objective / Purpose  The job holder will ensure that the Cloud/Technical architecture is in place for all business systems; will support the Solution Architect to ensure that applications are robust and deliver on organisation and customer expectations.  Duties and responsibilities  The Cloud Architect will guide the Customers to make the appropriate Cloud and Infrastructure selection for their products, together with the Sr. Management. This decision will be based on the Customer's current needs and future projection.  He/She shall evaluate emerging cloud technology through Proof-of-Concept and Research  He/She shall guide the Delivery Managers and Project Leaders in optimizing the Architectural Design and reviewing the Technical Design  He/She shall be accountable for the technical validity and interoperability of solutions  He/She shall ensure teams are trained on new and emerging Technology and the standards  He/She shall provide technical leadership and support across the entire function and product portfolio to ensure technology excellence that would help in the delivery of strategic business goals and development of products with competitive edge through technical abilities and interactions across programs and geographies, setting technology road map, overall direction for the function, driving key initiatives for improvements and technology change.  He/She will explain the structure to the designers and developers, and help them to build it  He/She will identify product gaps, product issues and work with Engineering teams to address them by bringing strategic impact  He/She will be the subject matter expert on partners getting Microsoft Azure Support and Cloud Platform Competency technical requirements  He/She should be worked on Cloud Assessment, Migration, Implementation solutions, Cloud Architecture & Design  He/She should have hands on experience on Windows PowerShell  He/She should have hands on experience on Azure AD/ADFS etc.  He/She should have hands on experience on Azure Operations  He/She should have hands on experience with Azure Infrastructure planning, Designing and architecture  He/She should have hands on experience with Azure Assessment and Migration  He/She should have hands on experience with Virtualization Implementations  Qualifications  B.E./B. Tech/MCA/MBA/MS from a recognised university  Experience  - Minimum 12+ years of experience in technical design and development using Microsoft Technology  - Minimum 4+ yrs experience as a Cloud Architect especially with Microsoft Azure  KNOWLEDGE:  - Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (secure software development (Application Security), data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments  - Exposure to Design of Application architecture using IaaS, PaaS, SaS and/or hybrid model on Microsoft Azure  - Extensive hands-on experience developing websites using .Net, MVC 5/6, Web API, C#, Entity Framework, LINQ, AngularJs, NodeJs, .Net Core  - Knowledge of Design tools like Visio/ArchiMate/Enterprise Architect  - Sound Knowledge of SQL Server/SQL Azure/Big Data/Mongodb/CosmosDb.  - Knowledge of Design patterns/Design Principals is preferred  SKILLS:  - Continually questions existing work standards and processes and delivery in order to find better, faster, less expensive or more effective ways to do things  - Endeavours to exceed existing standards where quality of work is considered critical  - Anticipates problems and works towards solutions  - Good Interpersonal skills  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
