Senior Chief Manager - Procurement - Non-IT - NBFC

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

- Analytical Skills: Procurement managers work with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company, and have to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors.

- Decision-Making Skills: Procurement managers need to use the information gathered by yourself and the purchasing agents to make decisions on behalf of your company.

- Math Skills: Basic math skills will be needed to analyze prices and get the best deals possible.

- Negotiating Skills: Procurement managers will be working with suppliers to create the best deals. Negotiating skills will help create those deals.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Managing procurement for Non IT products & services.

2) Interact interdepartmentally to identify business needs, streamline procedures and simplify operational process.

3) Develope & managed a robust supplier base & ensure due diligence, empanelment, risk assessment & monitoring

4) Govern access and maintain the list of stakeholders with access to various procurement records and systems

5) Exercise appropriate judgment in releasing information to relevant stakeholders; analyze/project consequences of decisions and recommendations

6) Lead the Audits/compliance activities related to procurement

7) Record, validate, classify and track cost savings and published periodic reports on spends

8) Share informative procurement and spend reports to management

9) Develop, review and maintain the Procurement policies, related documents to ensure the efficient & effective procurement operations across the organisation
