Details about the Position:

Position : Senior Business Analyst - Tableau

Location : Bangalore

Requisites :

- 3-4 years of analytics experience preferred.

- At least 2 years of experience in creating Tableau dashboards.

- Ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner

- Ability to use custom SQL for complex data pulls

- Good UI formatting experience in tableau

- Good understanding of data shaping methods suited for tableau

- Understanding of tableau server side functionalities and best ways to deploy

- Attention to detail and should be a quick learner.

- Ability to work with complex spread sheets with large data and supervises analysts working on the same.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborating with the internal and external stakeholders to define the information architecture, advocating interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability.

- Understanding and defining data requirements

- Writing SQL queries to extract, merge and prepare granular and aggregated datasets for data analytics and business intelligence

- Designing complex dashboards taking advantage of all tableau functions including data blending, actions, parameters, etc. to analyse and obtain insights from large data sets

- Creating high-impact, meaningful dashboards in Tableau (using multiple features and charts such as Heat maps, Scatter Plots, Tree maps, Geo maps, Waterfall charts, Story Boarding etc.) to help the business make informed decisions.

- Conducting quality control checks to ensure the accuracy of reports presented
