Opening for Senior Business Analyst with Leading MNC IT Company - Pune

Must skills :

- Proven experience (in minimum 8 years) as requirements engineer /business analyst in IT

- Proficient in writing use cases, business rules and applying requirements gathering and modelling techniques (UML) on a daily basis.

- Experience in Agile Business analysis, understanding of product backlog, writing requirements in the form of user stories

- Experience in process design and modelling using business process modelling notation (BPMN)

- Should have experience in building wireframes/mock-ups and understanding of usability concepts

- Should have the understanding of data interfaces (ex. Web-Services)

- Detail orientation and willingness to fully understand subject domains

- Strong leadership and collaboration skills

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) in order to collaborate with all levels of Business & IT

- Strong ability to work independently and to work collaboratively in a team

- Self-driven and motivated, highly pro-active and resilient attitude - proud to take ownership and willing to go the extra mile

- Open and transparent, able to address critical issues

- Fluent in English (oral and written)

- Experienced in working with standard tool suites (Polarion, Balsamiq, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, HP ALM, etc.) and techniques

- Minimum 6 months of onsite experience - working abroad (Europe, USA)

Advantageous skills :

- Agile SCRUM certification (Product Owner or Scrum Master)

- Business Analyst Certification, for example, a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

- Experience working with distributed teams (onsite/near-shore/off-shore resources)

- Experience in banking or finance industry

- Knowledge in object-oriented design and development background (JAVA)

The position encompasses :

- Gather requirements and drive the detailed business analysis in the area of digital client onboarding and relationship modifications (as a self-service).

- Elaborate a clear picture about the as-is and target business processes and consults business regarding potential process changes

- Conduct requirements workshops with representatives from the business departments, compliance and IT architecture to align requirements and the application design across

- Identifies all the affected up- and downstream applications, processes and interfaces and ensure proper stakeholder analysis and -management

- Ensures that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed user stories, functional and non-functional requirements specifications

- Provides subject matter expertise to assist the developers and testers during the technical design, implementation and testing phase

- Perform exploratory testing as required (i.e. act as the quality gate for Scrum team)
