Senior Business Analyst - Guidewire - P&C Insurance Domain

We are hiring for a leading IT product company in Banking and Financial Service, BFSI

Role : Senior Business Analyst, Functional / Domain expert

Desired experience and Job Description :

- Should have a extensive knowledge of P&C Business (US) and Industry trends, especially Commercial lines of Business, UK industry knowledge is advantage.

- Should have exposure to / experience in Policy Management/ Underwriting / New Business functionalities of P&C Insurance Life cycle

- Desired to have work experience on any of leading UW/ Policy Products from Guidewire (PolicyCenter), Accenture (DC), OneShield, CSC, Insurity (Policy Decisions), STG-MajescoMastek, SAP (Camilion) or in-house projects into these areas for any P&C Insurer

- Should have understanding of P&C Business Processes / Business Workflows, Rules management and product configurations; preferably into Commercial Insurance

- Ability to understand the business need or problems through GAP analysis, business process analysis and interactive working sessions with P&C clients

- Ability to transform complex business processes into simple-to-comprehend business requirements using Use Cases or modeling tools

- Ability to analyze and document end to end business requirements through - Business Process Maps, Use Cases, Mockups, Prototypes, Data Dictionaries, and Business Domain Models.

- Ability to conduct and facilitate system testing, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing, and user training sessions as needed to support functional and maintenance releases.

- Ability to communicate and interface effectively with business units, technology teams, architecture leads and individuals at all levels of the organization to understand and document requirements (such as functional, interface, and GUI designs)

- Desired to have worked with ISO product specifications / ERC and ACORD standards for P&C products

- Strong Business Analysis skills with expertise into BA artifacts creation like FRDs, Rules, Diagrams

- Positive attitude and passionate about product building and should be a good team player

- Should be able to contribute into Product conceptualization / thought partnership and business architecture for Insurance Software products
