Senior AVP/AVP - Insurance Industry F&A Transformation Consultant - BPO - IIT/IIM/ISB/XLRI/FMS

Position: Sr AVP/ AVP - Insurance F&A Transformation Consultant

- Transformation Consultant for F&A processes, leveraging re-engineering, system interventions, benchmarking, analytics, among others-

Role:

1. Insurance F&A Transformation Consultant

a. Sound exposure in Management Consulting for Insurance F&A processes

b. Has driven projects in Finance Transformation side and is able to drive significant Transformation projects and able to connect with Clients at a Sr. Level

c. Interaction with clients on transformation/re-engineering initiatives throughout the project life-cycle, from identification, implementation, to sign off on Value Delivery

d. Responsible for driving Transformation projects for select Accounts.

e. Experience in identifying RPA opportunities, presenting it to the clients and delivery of solutions with the support of technical teams

f. Strong understanding of Platforms like HighRadius, CoAction, BlackLine, GetPaid, Coupa etc.

g. Ability to work with client and drive E2E transformation including driving upfront transformation at the client end.

h. As an insurance expert should have deep knowledge of Insurance Finance Operations such as Loss Sensitive Services, Premium Applications, Collections, Policy Administration, and Reconciliations etc.

i. Implementation of BI tools to generate business insights as well as predictive models to avoid risk exposure

j. Creation of diagnostic toolkit for all F&A processes

k. Perform diagnostic for existing and new processes

l. Work with business leaders to identify and execute transformation opportunities

m. Maintain awareness of new and emerging solutions and the potential application on operations

n. Drive enterprise adoption of these tools/techniques by internal and client showcasing and articulating the business case and value proposition

o. Act as business interface for business process automation and analytics opportunities

p. Maintain awareness of new and emerging solutions and the potential application on operations

2. Acting Subject Matter Expertise (SME) / Consultant

a. Exposure in performing Internal and External Industry Benchmarking.

b. Act as domain SME to design solutions for prospects and demonstrate knowledge for at least one amongst P2P / O2C / R2R

c. Active participation in client visits

d. Cross pollination of best practices in F&A by interfacing with operations leads and process /business excellence teams

Candidate Profile

1. 10+ years of experience in F&A services out of which at least 2-4 years Management consulting experience around strategic cost reduction, re-engineering, shared services design, outsourcing advisory, business-technology consulting and benchmarking studies

2. Consulting expertise preferably from Deloitte, Accenture, EY, Everest, Monitor, Gartner and Corporate Executive Board (CEB);

3. Consulting experience in F&A process, in our chosen industries - Insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, TTL, Retail - is a big plus

4. Experience in implementing RPA/Platforms/ERP/Business Intelligence (BI) Tools preferably for Large Insurance client.

5. Excellent education pedigree -UG degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, Maths/statistics and sciences from top colleges with good academic performance and MBA from any one the leading institutes - IIMs, FMS, XLRI, IMT Ghaziabad, ISB, JBIMS and IIT.

6. Experience of packaging and showcasing capabilities and solutions, especially to senior business leaders

7. Evidence of problem solving analytical mindset and comfort with business ambiguity

8. Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
