JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Senior Auditor - Internal Audit and Compliance Reporting: Head - Internal Audit and Compliance Key Responsibilities: Internal Audits - Academies, Development, Network Functions 1. Conduct field work of internal audits across Property Development, Academy operations and Network functions and seek review, inputs and approval from Head - Internal Audit. 2. Suggest improvements that will help building a robust processes which make system immune to revenue leakages and incurrence of wasteful expenditure. 3. To keep track and ensure that the audit methodology remains uniform across all audit firms. 4. Oversee the various audit carried out by TKNs and external consultants. Seek interim feedback and carry out periodic assessments of the audits being carried out by the internal audit firms, identify gaps and help them bridge the gaps. 5. Update risk tracker, compile risk and control matrix, audit guidebook etc. under supervision of Head- IA. 6. Track the progress of audit work vis-a-vis agreed plans and schedules. 7. Receive the draft reports from the audit firms and provide summary of issues to the Head - IA. 8. Help in administrative processes of the Internal Audit Department. 9. Interact with the Academies finance teams and statutory auditors for timely initiation and completion of statutory audits. 10. Highlight significant audit observations of the auditors to the Head - Internal Audit in a timely manner. Prepare the corrective action plan in conjunction with Head of Finance of respective Academy. Conduct dip stick audits during the year to check that agreed action plan is implemented. 11. Study the historical statutory audit reports of Academies, highlight the areas which need uniformity both in terms of policies and presentation. Legal Compliance 1. Interact with the Academies Finance, HR and Operations team to develop a legal compliance calendar for each country to mitigate the legal non-compliance risk. 2. Conduct dip stick audits during the year to check whether the activities are assigned to individuals and that agreed calendar is adhered to. The Candidate should have: 1. Demonstrable team-working skills to ably provide professional support to user departments. 2. Good knowledge of accounting and internal auditing standards. 3. Excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills. 4. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (written & oral) 5. Hands on experience in analytical tools such as PowerBI and Jet Reports. 6. Demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines at work and a proactive approach to business initiatives, including the ability to multitask, think creatively, identify issues and present solutions Qualifications & Experience: 1. A Chartered Accountant with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience. 2. Experience of auditing international private day boarding/ residential school would be an advantage. Those having auditing experience of Grants for Social Development, Hospitals, Not for Profit may also be considered. Travel: 1. The candidate should be willing to travel both within and outside India.
