Position: Senior Attorney   Location: Manesar (Near Gurgaon)  Qualification: LLB (from any recognized university in India) + Qualified Company Secretary (having ICSI membership) is compulsory  Job Description: Legal Department: Role: Work as Senior Attorney in legal department. Provide complete oversight of secretarial activities (under the Companies Act and other corporate laws). Support to customer contracts.   Job profile:   - Independently handle day to day legal work that includes creating and review of contracts, confidentiality agreements, real estate related agreements.  - Provide support to customer contracts. Act as Lead Negotiator on critical contracts with customers.   - Develop and implement action plans pertaining to any new assignment. Review and interpret various corporate, business and labour laws in day to day affairs of the legal department.  - Drive the compliance management that includes due diligences, audits, training the internal stakeholders, monitoring and controlling non-compliances.  - Oversee end-to-end secretarial function, governed by corporate laws   - Provide support to other stakeholders such as Treasury, Finance, Human Resources, Sourcing (vendor contracts), Internal Audit etc., on various matters involving day to day affairs. Provide advice on all labour & employment matters along with related compliances.   - Independently drive the Committee for Prevention of Sexual Harassment and handle its related compliances.   - Liaise with external consultants or law firms on various routine matters.  - Travel: 10% of time  Requirement / Qualifications:  - The candidate should be able to work independently and in a dynamic environment.   - The candidate should have demonstrated his/her ability in handling key legal assignments.   - The candidate should be able to assess the risks involved in various transactions and advise the stakeholders appropriately.   - Hands-on experience in handling company secretary related work, customer contracts, advising on labour and employment laws along with previous work experience in handling sexual harassment cases, knowledge in contracts and business laws, foreign exchange and other corporate laws including property laws is a must.   - Candidate should have the ability to interact with internal management and should liaise with various statutory authorities.   - Excellent drafting and vetting skills and excellent presentation and communication skills is compulsory.   - Hands-on computer skills are compulsory. Experience with IT & ITES companies will be an added advantage.  - Work experience: 6 + years in legal department is a must.
