Position: Senior Associate

Experience: Min 2 years

Qualification: CA

Location: Elphinstone, Mumbai

Job Description:

- Conducting tax planning for clients to meet with the corporate tax obligations as per statute;

- Assist in providing advice on Corporate tax laws and regulations

- Ensure seamless execution, manage client servicing and contribute to the growth of the organization with quality work

- Work on technical assignments pertaining to income-tax, accounting, Companies Act, FDI Policy, FEMA, RBI regulations and SEBI regulations including collating necessary information, undertaking research, creating reports/opinions, etc

- Review agreements (share purchase agreements, subscription agreements, trust deeds, business transfer agreements, asset sale/purchase agreements, etc)

- Independently execute basic compliance assignments and undertake basic interaction with clients / regulatory authorities

- Ensure the delivery of project work within the agreed timeline.

- Preparation of effective presentations, reports, memos, emails (internal and external)

- Manage the maintenance and finalization of working papers that support transactions etc.

- Clear and practical thought process on objectives in deal structuring and M&A

- Draft schemes of arrangement/amalgamation; concept presentations with overall objectives being achieved in a tax efficient and regulatory compliant manner.
