Senior Associate - Private Equity Firm

We are a new PE firm focused on the 'Early-Growth' stage, being companies with revenues between 100 to 300 CR at the time of our entry. The Fund Manager has been a Fund Manager for a similar fund, from 2020-2023, and has been a private equity professional since 2005. While the fund will get ready to invest in the later part of this year, we are doing deals on a deal-by-deal basis, with ample access to investor capital.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Associate to join our team and support our private equity investment activities.

You will be responsible for sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting the transaction execution process.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, people skills and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and have a strong understanding of finance and investment principles

Responsibilities :

- Conduct market and industry research to identify potential investment opportunities.

- Analyze financial statements, valuation models, and other investment metrics to evaluate the attractiveness of potential investments.

- Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials to support investment recommendations.

- Participate in due diligence efforts, including reviewing legal documents, conducting financial analysis, and identifying key risks and opportunities.

- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to support the transaction execution process, including deal structuring and negotiation.

- Monitor portfolio companies and perform periodic valuations and analysis.

- Support fundraising efforts and investor relations activities.

- Provide analytical support and insight to senior investment professionals.

- Besides the investments-related functions, your activities will include all aspects of building the new business, implying high responsibility and commensurate high reward.

PREREQUISITE : You need to have at least three years of prior work experience, in private equity placements or equity investing, but later than seed stage, and not focused only on industrialists or infrastructure. Experience in consumer segment is preferred.
