Senior Associate/Manager - IFRS/GAAP Conversion - Consulting Firm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Knowledge of IFRS/US/UK GAAP.

Strong IFRS background is required - some of the important areas are IFRS-1 (IFRS conversion/first time adoption); IFRS-9; IFRS-15; leasing; insurance etc.

Working experience in relation to the following services/solutions :

- GAAP conversions and implementation of IFRS

- Drafting and designing accounting policies

- Technical accounting research and advice (IFRS)

- Transaction accounting and reporting, consolidation and compilation support, financial statement close process support

- Advisory related experiences - various: policies and procedures; record to report; consolidations; ERPs; Finance best practices and benchmarking; finance transformation; shared services and business case development.

Technical Skills Required :

- Knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP and auditing standards is an advantage

- Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation Skills

- Project management skills

- Excellent communication skills including speaking and writing effectively in English
