Senior Associate - Direct Tax - Law Firm

- Providing time to time advisory services in relation to Direct and International Tax

- Performing complete direct tax due diligence in relation to mergers and acquisitions

- Preparation of opinions, memos, articles, presentations on recent taxation matters

- Ensuring compliance with various tax and regulatory matters of the clients

- Advising clients on structuring / restructuring of their business transactions from an Indian Income tax, International tax, Direct tax Code and FEMA perspective

- Drafting opinions and advising on domestic and international direct tax issues, Exchange Control Regulation issues, Regulatory Policy related issues, etc

- Review of agreements and analysing the same from a direct tax perspective
