Sr. Associate : Corporate Credit Risk role

Client is a Global Bank with offshore unit in Mumbai.

The team is responsible for effectively managing the firm's risk-return profile which ensures the efficient deployment of the firm's capital.

Role involves managing a portfolio of corporate clients from the APAC / EMEA region. This role involves undertaking thorough credit research & analysis on Corporate counterparties from across sectors, rating them and writing high quality Credit Memos.

Role specs :

- Manage a team of corporate analysts along with a portfolio of corporate clients

- Undertake periodic credit analysis of existing corporate clients which includes assessment of business, management and financial profiles.

- Support the EMEA team in initial credit related due diligence for prospective clients by undertaking comprehensive credit risk assessment and assigning ratings

- Track various market movements and sector level developments.

- Manage counterparty exposures within set credit limits and investigate exposure movements

- Support day-to-day trade approval process with accurate and timely responses

- Participate in periodic stress testing exercises, investigating exposure movements in stress scenarios

- Provide credit terms for legal documentation and participate in the overall legal negotiation process

- Understand internal credit policies and ensure compliance of existing work streams with the relevant policies.

- Provide support in other ad-hoc projects that are undertaken by the team, for example scorecard development, sector reviews, data aggregation and validation etc.

Candidate specs :

- CA / MBA with Credit Risk / Credit Appraisal / Credit Ratings experience across sectors.

- Flexible to work in India shifts [8.30 AM -5.30 PM] & EMEA shifts [1 PM - 10 PM] . Cab / Transport facilities available.
