Senior Associate - Business Development for Commodity Exchange

- This role is a business development role to get more and more traders to use the online exchange for commodity trading.

Qualifications :

- MBA (Agri/ Finance/ Marketing)/ CA

Experience :

- Min 3 yrs of experience in similar role and sales/ products function with a bank, financial institution, Agri Input industry

Job Purpose : Increase liquidity and trading volumes across different product categories & nation-wide.

Role :

- Identify and develop new relationships with members and clients.

- Develop new regions for sales penetration

- Increase trading volumes and profitability on different products

- Develop sales/ volume targets regionally and product-wise

- Relationship management with members/ clients and drive business volumes

- Identify and set-up alternate channels for increasing liquidity and trading volumes

- Work closely with products team in generating leads and servicing clients as per their needs

- Understanding of the exchange functionalities, systems and operations

- Ability to liaison with corporate's /agri value chain participants and get them on Spot platform

- Understanding of the physical mandi operations

- Participate in seminars/ conferences to increase awareness on commodities trading
