Senior Associate/Associate/Analyst - Finance Executive - CA/CMA

Finance Executives (Sr. Associates/Associate/Analyst) || CA or CMA || Zambia in Southern Africa (Job location)

Roles and responsibilities of the On-site team:

Cost accounting and variance analysis:

- Systematically calculate manufacturing cost per unit of measurement by identifying, computing, and allocating various costs incurred in producing finished metal

- Providing timely reports on the cost of production and analyzing variances to highlight differences between actual and expected costs. This helps in understanding performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Review of Accounting and Reporting:

- Review of accounting records for their completeness, accuracy and compliance with the applicable accounting standards and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Preparation of tailored financial reports based on specific needs of the Management. This could involve customizing reports to highlight key performance indicators or financial metrics important for decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting & Analysis:

- Assisting the Management in the development of periodical budgets and financial forecasts and financial analysis. This involves preparing necessary groundwork and data crucial for these processes.

Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:

- Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and timely submission of required reports by reviewing accuracy and consistency of the data prepared by the client team

- Attend and Provide Inputs to the Management in Regular Review Meetings:

- Actively engaging in weekly and monthly meetings to discuss financial performance, strategies, and addressing any concerns. Providing valuable insights and recommendations based on financial data.
